A general endowment can be created to secure the longevity of the Foundation into perpetuity. Specific opportunities to fund any of our programs can be discussed. Endowments can be established with gifts of $50,000 or more and can be designated for:
Relief - Support our emergency financial relief and professional counseling program by helping individuals in our footwear community and their families in times of economic and emotional distress.
Scholarship - Provide industry, need-based scholarships by creating a scholarship fund - payable over several years if necessary.
- Higher Education Scholarship: Available only to the children of Shoepeople, or students who are themselves employed within the industry to study a subject of their choice; or
- Footwear Design Scholarship: Encouraging bright young people from inside or outside the footwear industry to enter the industry in the design capacity.
Community & Catalyst - Bring the industry together by convening forums, groups and programs and help support footwear community-building and volunteerism.
Getting Started
An endowment can be established with one lump sum payment or pledge paid over several years.
