Two Ten Foundation Annual Dinner - A Coming Together of Heart and Sole

December 4th, 2007, New York City, NY – On December 4th, 2007 Two Ten Footwear Foundation proudly welcomed 850 individuals from the footwear community to the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York City for its Annual Dinner. Chaired by Joe Wood, President of Famous Footwear, the event celebrated the footwear community under the common cause of Two Ten. The Dinner Committee raised nearly $900,000 in support of Two Ten’s programs and services.

This year's Dinner honored Jim Issler, CEO and President of H.H. Brown Shoe Company, Inc. with the T. Kenyon Holly Award for excellence in humanitarian achievements; and Jim Salzano, Executive Vice President of The Clarks Companies, N.A. recognized with the A.A. Bloom Award for outstanding volunteer service of Two Ten. 

The evening concluded with an exciting 50-50 Raffle and Live Auction with items including: trip to Punta Mita, Mexico and a Paul Reed Smith guitar signed by Carlos Santana.

An endowed scholarship was also auctioned off with the naming rights to be determined by the auction winner. Since the Scholarship programs inception, Two Ten has awarded more then $12.5 million to over 5,400 deserving students from the footwear community.
