Since 2008, Two Ten Footwear Foundation has offered two Ars Sutoria scholarships, established through the generous support of the Ars Arpel Group, in partnership with Two Ten. They provide free tuition to one individual from the footwear industry who wishes to enhance his/her career by attending a five-day intensive training program at Two Ten headquarters in Waltham, MA or a full immersion, three-week Footwear Design and Prototype program in Milan, Italy.
The five-day Ars Sutoria Footwear Design program in Waltham took place in February. Due to popular demand, an additional Waltham course will be offered September 10-14, 2012. A course description can be accessed here.
To register for the fall course, click here. Space is limited to 20 people so secure your spot early. Registration closes August 10th, or sooner if spaces fill up before the deadline.
Two Ten would like to congratulate Katherine Cahill, Product Developer at Timberland and winner of the three-week Ars Sutoria scholarship in Milan. Ars Sutoria received some fantastic and highly-qualified applicants, and it was hard to pick just one. Check back February 2013 to apply for next year's Milan scholarship.
