“Delivering Happiness? How about changing the whole world, one footwear family at a time? Thank you, Zappos!” said Neal Newman, Two Ten President. For the last five years, Zappos has made a huge difference to Two Ten through their Zappos 4-210 Sale of Shoes Project and the Zalloween golf tournament. This year looks to be no different!
The Zappos 4-210 Sale of Shoes Project took place this past August for the fifth year running. Organized by the team of Scott Julian, Terry Imus, Matt Thomas, and Larry Roos, Zappos 4-210 is an online shoe sales event on Zappos.com. The Zappos team had a record-breaking year in 2013 when they raised over $300,000 to help shoepeople facing hard times.
This year, the target is just as ambitious: surpass last year’s totals and help even more shoepeople. In 2013, over 50 Zappos buyers helped raise funds for shoepeople in need through Zappos 4-210 and Zalloween. As of the first week of September, the team is on track, with the support of nearly 100 brands so far.
With the participation of long-time Two Ten supporters like Clarks, Skechers, and Munro, as well as newer supporters such as Crocs, Lacoste, and Dry Dock, the Zappos team is sure to have another great year – and will make all the difference for the shoepeople facing hard times who call Two Ten every day. Thank you, Zappos!
