September 2nd 2010, Waltham, MA - Two Ten Footwear Foundation announced today that Lance Clark of Clarks will receive the T. Kenyon Holly Award for his excellent humanitarian achievements. Lance founded "Soul of Africa" aimed at creating self-sustainable employment by teaching previously unemployed women in South Africa to hand-stitch products, therefore earning them a living as well as teaching them valuable skills. Money raised from the program goes to the care and upkeep of orphans and vulnerable children in Africa - most of whom are directly or indirectly affected by HIV/AIDS pandemic.
Diane Sullivan, President & COO of Brown Shoe Company will receive the A.A. Bloom Award for her outstanding volunteer service to Two Ten. Diane has been an active volunteer with Two Ten for over 15 years most recently as co-chair of both the Annual Dinner and the Women in Footwear Industry (WIFI) program. Diane has had a dramatic impact on developing and improving both the Annual Dinner and WIFI programs with her leadership and commitment.
