TwoTen Footwear Foundation's Women in Footwear Industry (WIFI) will hold a re-launch of its Las Vegas chapter at the Zappos headquarters on August 22nd from 7:00-8:30pm. Las Vegas chair Jeanne Markel (Zappos) will moderate a panel discussion on Taking Big Bets featuring Foot Petals' Tina Aldatz, joined by her business partner Margie Floris, as well as Zappos' Eileen Tetrault for what's sure to be an inspiring event. In celebration of their 10th anniversary Foot Petals, Inc. will present a $10,000 donation to TwoTen towards the establishment of a TwoTen WIFI Endowed Scholarship. "It's a great way to give back to those who have supported our company through the years and provide other young women with the opportunity to pursue their dreams", said Tina Aldatz, President and Founder of Foot Petals, Inc.
Foot Petals is inviting all members of TwoTen WIFI, and the broader footwear industry, to honor a young woman who best embodies the spirit of TwoTen WIFI, by making a donation to the TwoTen WIFI Endowed Fund. Once total contributions reach $50,000, an Endowment will be established to generate a scholarship for a single female student, renewable up to 4 years, in perpetuity.
