This year’s Two Ten VIP Dinner, Auction and Annual Gala proved once again that the footwear industry is an incredibly generous and compassionate community. $3.5MM was raised that will be used to change the lives of shoepeople in need in 2017.
Three industry icons were honored. Tacey Powers of Nordstrom Rack received the Social Impact Award for the extraordinary steps she’s taken to positively change the lives of footwear employees and their families who need a helping hand. Jay Schottenstein of DSW accepted the T. Kenyon Holly Memorial Award for his charitable, civic, and public service to his community in and outside of footwear, and Blake Krueger of Wolverine Worldwide received the A.A. Bloom Memorial Award for his tireless work behind the scenes to further the cause of Shoepeople Helping Shoepeople.
