Foundation’s national programs to benefit from partner generated market research
Two Ten Footwear Foundation, the national charitable foundation serving the footwear industry, today announced two strategic partnerships with NPD Group and Bentley University’s Center for Women and Business. Both partnerships will build new and exciting content for Two Ten’s Women in Footwear Industry (WIFI), the preeminent women’s organization in footwear.
Two Ten is committed to addressing the unique challenges facing women in the footwear industry. Through WIFI, Two Ten connects women together, supports their personal and professional growth and harnesses their talents and expertise to address human and societal issues of concern to their colleagues, the industry and Two Ten.
“These partnerships are highly strategic based on the individual and combined expertise that NPD Group and Bentley’s Center for Woman and Business offer the WIFI program,” remarked Carol Baiocchi, Senior VP and DMM, Footwear for Kohl’s Department Stores and co-chair of WIFI.
“The WIFI platform provides a unique opportunity for The NPD Group to strengthen our support among women leaders and deepen our relationship with footwear wholesalers and retailers,” said Lori Monaco, President, Fashion Footwear and Accessories, The NPD Group. “We look forward to working with Two Ten to identify the needs of the industry related to changes in the market.”

Founded in 2008, Two Ten’s WIFI unites the footwear industry’s emerging young professionals with established women leaders by offering relevant programming to a wide variety of interests. WIFI chapters are located in Portland, OR/Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Milwaukee, WI; St. Louis, MO; Columbus, OH; New York, NY; and Boston, MA. The Annual WIFI Summit will be held from 5:30 to 7:30pm on June 2nd at Brasserie 8 ½, 9 West 57th Street in New York City. This year’s summit will headline Liz Rodbell, President of Hudson’s Bay Company. Addtionally, Tina Aldatz will be on hand signing copies of her new book, ‘From Stilettos to the Stock Exchange’.
