In observation of Veteran’s Day, Two Ten Footwear Foundation today announced the launch of its Footwear Warriors Phase II Campaign, a concentrated three-month fundraising appeal to increase the number of scholarships made available for Veterans working in or returning to the footwear industry. The scholarship fund was first made possible by Quabaug Corporation, Vibram, and the Donahue family with an initial commitment of $130,000. Since its initial launch, the Footwear Warriors Scholarship Fund has been generously supported by: ASICS America Corp.; Biltrite; Bollus Lynch LLP; Deer Stags, Inc.; Doherty Associates; Exsel Advertising; Fed Ex, Fletcher Tilton PC; HB Chemical; Harwick Standard Distribution Corporation; Ken Hicks; Mary Kuconis, MEK Search; McRae Footwear; Micro-Pak, Ltd.; Rick Muskat; New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc.; Neal Newman; Ortholite; The Protector Group; Quabaug Corporation; Red Wing Shoe Foundation; Rocky Brands, Inc.; Jim Salzano; Texas Leather Trim; Timberland LLC; UPS – Supply Chain Solutions; UniBank; Vibram USA; and Zeon Chemicals L.P.

A matching gift fund of over $30,000 has been raised in record time with gifts from Kevin Donahue, Rocky Brands, Vibram and W.L. Gore. This challenge gift fund can be used to match additional gifts up to $30,000 to reach the total Phase II goal of $60,000, bringing the total endowed fund to $360,000.
