Tim O’Donovan, retired Chairman and CEO of Wolverine Worldwide, will be presented with the prestigious Bob Campbell Lifetime Achievement Award on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, during the Two Ten Annual Gala.
“It’s incredibly fitting that during our 75th anniversary year, we celebrate Tim O’Donovan’s love of the footwear industry, the people who work in it and his 23-year commitment to Two Ten,” said Neal Newman, President of Two Ten Footwear Foundation.
O’Donovan actively served on the Two Ten Board for 23 years, including two years as its Chairman, and currently as the tri-chair of its Honorary Board. He has repeatedly demonstrated his charitable, civic and public service to the footwear community and has been the recipient of Two Ten’s highest honors, the A.A. Bloom Memorial Award (1995) and T. Kenyon Holly Memorial Award (2004) – both awards signifying outstanding humanitarian achievements. In 2009, the Tim and Karen O’Donovan Endowment Fund was established to provide financial assistance to footwear employees in times of need.
“I am delighted Tim O’Donovan will receive Two Ten Footwear Foundation’s Bob Campbell Lifetime Achievement Award this year,” remarked Bob Campbell, Chairman and CEO of BBC International. “Everyone at Two Ten, and all across our industry, appreciates Tim’s generosity to our people, to our industry and to our industry’s charitable foundation. In my book, there’s no finer individual, and no one more deserving of this recognition.”
