At last Thursday’s WIFI National event, these trailblazing women captivated more than 120 attendees with stories about how they’ve created their successful brands and businesses. The biggest theme of the night? Make sure you’re doing something you love. Each woman referenced how they do not believe they would have made it to where they are now if they were working in something they weren’t passionate about. “We almost sold cleaning supplies – and I hate cleaning supplies,” joked Randall to the audience.
“If you’re not passionate about what you’re doing, you won’t succeed.”
Each woman, now several years into their brands, discussed the ins and outs of starting their business. “I actually sold all of my dad’s furniture so that I would have some funds to begin this company, ” shared Wölffer, emphasizing that getting a brand off the ground is no easy feat. Both agreed that there were days that they felt like they couldn’t keep going, but their drive and passion is what launched them into their success today.
Two Ten would like to thank Jessie and Joey for spending their evening with us, sharing their respective journeys, and supporting Two Ten and WIFI. A huge thank you is also in order for our moderator and member of the Two Ten Board of Directors, Tracey McLeod who shares Jessie and Joey’s journey as an entrepreneur with her own footwear brand, TIEM.
